BRISTOL, Va. – The Intermont Equestrian at Emory & Henry College IHSA Team saw all three of its competing riders earn spots in the Zone 4 Finals Sunday at the Zone 4-Region 5 Finals. The show was held at the Emory & Henry College Equestrian Center.

The Results
- Junior Lindsay Shaw (Newark, Del.) won the region championship at Open Equitation on the Flat.
- Senior Holly Orfield (Johnson City, Tenn.) was the runner-up at Novice.
- In Introductory, sophomore Laney Stogdale (New Hope, Va.) claimed reserve champion honors.
Advancing To Zones
- By virtue of its Zone 4-Region 5 regular season title, Emory & Henry will compete as a team at the Zone 4 Championship for a spot at the IHSA National Championship.
- As all three of E&H's riders finished in the top two of their respective classes, each have qualified for the Zone Championship.
Next Up
- Intermont Equestrian will next compete at the Zone 4 Finals on Saturday, April 1. Goucher College will serve as the host.
