Intermont Equestrian IHSA Team Wins At Western Carolina Saturday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The Intermont Equestrian at Emory & Henry College IHSA Team continued the season with another High-Point Team finish with seven podium finishes.

The Basics
TEAM PLACE – 1st/9
LOCATION – Asheville, North Carolina
VENUE –  Over the River Farm

The Results
- Junior Emma Pell (Winchester, Va.) won at Open Equitation Over Fences and Open Equitation on the Flat.
- Junior Mia Sisson (Warren, R.I.) notched a second-place finish at Intermediate Over Fences, and sophomore Elizabeth Church (Elk Grove, Calif.) grabbed a fifth on the flat.
- In Limit Over Fences, junior Madison Couperthwait (Otego, N.Y. ) had a good showing over fences, finishing just out of the ribbons
- Limit on the Flat competition saw junior Kendall Madison (Westtown, N.Y.) pick up a win as Grace Reynen (Mission Viejo, Calif.) also notched a blue.
- Freshman Cetari White-Anderson (Clatskanie, Ore.) earned herself second in Novice with senior Alex Osborne (Charlottesville, Va.) claiming fourth.
- Introductory competition saw junior Thomas Carter (Asheville, N.C. ) come out on top with a hard-fought win to end the day.

The Awards
- Pell was the High-Point Rider of the Day after her back to back wins in Open.
