
BRISTOL, Va. – The Intermont Equestrian at Emory & Henry University teams have set their slate of shows for the fall 2024 semester. The Wasps will compete in five Intercollegiate Dressage Association shows with two at home and three on the road. The Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association slate has four shows with two at home and two on the road.
Emory & Henry gets the season started with its IDA slate, traveling to Virginia Tech on Saturday, October 5 and Sunday, October 6. The Wasps return to the New River Valley on Sunday, October 20 for another show at VT.
E&H has its first home events of the year on Saturday, November 2 and Sunday, November 3, hosting a pair of dressage shows. This will close out the IDA schedule for the fall.
The IHSA schedule begins on Saturday, November 9 and Sunday, November 10 with the annual High Point University doubleheader. The Wasps will host a pair of hunter-jumper shows on Saturday, November 16 and Sunday, November 17 to complete the schedule.
The IHSA Zone 4-Region 5 schedule featured some additional shows that ended up being cancelled or potentially postponed to the spring semester because of Hurricane Helene. The spring portion of the schedule will be released at a later date.
