FOREST, Va. - Emory & Henry College swept the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Football Player of the Week awards for Week 11, ODAC officals announced Sunday. Junior quarterback Kyle Boden was named Offensive Player of the Week while junior cornerback DeMikael Burse earned Defensive PoW honors.

The two winners gives E&H five ODAC Players of the Week for the 2012 season. Boden earns the award for the second time this year and third time in his career, with this being Burse's first win.

Boden threw for 323 yards on 22-for-35 passing for four touchdowns and rushed six times for 65 yards, including a 38-yard scamper that set up his final touchdown of the day. Boden found 10 different receivers in the game with four different players catching passes for scores.

The Knoxville, Tenn., native finished the season with 2,511 passing yards and 18 touchdowns. He is the first Wasp to ever throw for over 2,000 yards in back-to-back seasons. Boden also rushed for three touchdowns on the year. Last week he was also named to the NCAA Division III Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District V Team for his achievements on the field and in the classroom.

Burse made seven tackles on the day including five solo and a tackle for loss. He broke up a pass in the end zone on fourth down in the first quarter and picked off another pass in the end zone just before halftime, returning it 27 yards. Burse defended five passes over the course of the game.
