FOREST, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Football Team saw 10 of its players named to the 2012 All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference teams, ODAC officials announced Tuesday. Junior quarterback Kyle Boden took home ODAC/Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete honors while the Wasps had six second-team and three third-team all-league selections.

Boden, a native of Knoxville, Tenn. and a graduate of Karns HS, stands out on and off the field for E&H.  In the classroom, he boasts a 3.975 grade point average as a Biology and Chemistry major.  He is a multi-honoree on the E&H Dean's List and a two-time member of the All-ODAC Academic Team.  He was also named to the CoSIDA Academic All-American All-District First Team in 2011 and 2012.  On the field, Boden was second in the ODAC with 2,511 yards on 250-of-392 passing.  His 18 touchdown passes and 63.8 completion percentage were also second in the league.  He was named the ODAC Offensive Player of the Week following the first and last weeks of the regular season and is the only Emory & Henry quarterback to throw for more than 2,000 yards in two different seasons.

On the All-ODAC Second Team are senior linebacker Devan Sproles (Norton, Va.), senior kicker Matt Turchin (Salisbury, N.C.), junior offensive lineman Justin Farmer (Pearisburg, Va.), junior defensive lineman Scott Hill (Jefferson, Ga.), junior defensive back DeMikael Burse (Charlotte, N.C.) and sophomore running back Joe Vaughn (Gate City, Va.).

Senior wide receiver Corey Ware (Buchanan, Va.), senior linebacker Ross Ellis (Abingdon, Va.) and junior linebacker Paul Forney (Newton, N.C.) took All-ODAC Third Team honors.
