Three Emory & Henry Football Seniors To Play In Senior Bowl Games Saturday

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Three Emory & Henry College Football players have elected to play in senior scout games this Saturday as part of the completion of their collegiate careers. Linebacker Rhasheen Williams (Charlotte, N.C.) and cornerback Tre'von Lightfoot (Big Island, Va.) will play in the D3 Senior Classic while offensive guard McFarland Murph (West Columbia, S.C.) will play in the Seventh Annual D1-FCS Senior Scout Bowl. All three seniors were named to the All-ODAC First Team this season.

Both games will be played at Doug Shaw Stadium at Myrtle Beach High School as a part of a four-game series called the National Scouting Showcase. The D3 Senior Classic kicks off at 12:30 p.m., while the D1-FCS Senior Scout Bowl will follow later in the day at 7:30 p.m.

Williams finished his career with 127 tackles, five sacks, and 12 tackles for loss. Despite only playing two seasons at linebacker, Williams was a two-time All-ODAC selection at the position. Lightfoot was named to the All-ODAC First Team in back-to-back seasons and earned All-South Region Third Team accolades in 2015 and 2016. He finished his career with 126 tackles, nine interceptions, and 22 passes broken up. Murph started 29 games during his career and was named First Team All-ODAC and Third Team All-South Region.

All games in the "2016 National Scouting Showcase," will be broadcasted live on the www.playCDFL.com website by Prodigy Launch Productions and streamed by DaCast Broadcasting.
