Emory & Henry Football Earns Two Spots On The Roanoke Times All-State Team

ROANOKE, Va. - The Emory & Henry College Football Team has seen two of its players receive another set of postseason honors. With the completion of the college football season and the NCAA Division I FCS National Runner-Up finish by James Madison University, The Roanoke Times has released its list of the Commonwealth's top performers on the gridiron.

Junior defensive lineman Josh Fleenor (Christiansburg, Va.) and sophomore wide receiver Derrick Yates (Abingdon, Va.) were named to The Roanoke Times All-State Second Team.

Fleenor was selected to both the All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference and VaSID College Division First Team and added D3football.com All-South Region accolades to his credit. Yates was tabbed to the All-ODAC and VaSID Second Team.

Washington and Lee University's Josh Breece was selected as the Small College Offensive Player of the Year while Montel Lee of Ferrum College was tabbed as the Defensive Player of the Year.
