EMORY, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Football Team and Head Coach Curt Newsome are pleased to announce the 2021 season schedule. This fall's slate will see the Wasps play an Old Dominion Athletic Conference schedule for a final time, however given the College's plans to realign to NCAA Division II, E&H will not be eligible for an ODAC Championship or any league awards.
Emory & Henry posted a 3-1 record during the 2020 season, contested during the spring 2021 semester, and reached the first-ever ODAC Championship game. The Wasps fell by a 13-10 margin in overtime to the Yellow Jackets of Randolph-Macon College.

E&H opens the season at North Carolina Wesleyan College on Saturday, September 4 (noon). The Wasps fell by a 31-24 score to the Battling Bishops in overtime in 2019 in what was the first meeting between the two squads since 2009.
The first home game for the Wasps is against Bluefield College on September 11 at 1:00 p.m. Following a trip to Newport News on Saturday, September 18, to take on The Apprentice School, Emory & Henry returns home for a matchup with Bridgewater College on September 25. The contest will be 100 years and a day after E&H received the "Wasps" nickname against the University of Tennessee.
After its scheduled bye in Week Five, E&H will travel to Ashland to take on open reigning ODAC Champion Randolph-Macon on October 9. Homecoming 2021 is set for Friday, October 15-Sunday, October 17 with a date against Hampden-Sydney College highlighting the weekend.
Emory & Henry makes a trip up Interstate 81 to visit Shenandoah University on October 23 before hosting Washington and Lee University on October 30. A meeting with Guilford College gets the month of November started on Saturday the sixth.
The regular-season finale for the Wasps will take place on Saturday, November 13 against Ferrum College. The contest will be the sixth and final edition of the Crooked Road Classic and will also serve as Senior Day.
