“Keys to the Game” Returns For Ninth Season Monday, August 14 On WEHC 90.7 FM & 90.5 WISE-FM

EMORY, Va. - The Emory & Henry College Football Coach's Show "Keys to the Game" returns on Monday, August 14 for its ninth year. The show will again be hosted by Gary Lester, broadcast commentator for E&H Football, and feature Head Coach Curt Newsome.

For the first time, the show will not only run on WEHC Emory 90.7 FM and wehcfm.com, but also on 90.5 WISE-FM Wise, 91.3 FM Pound, 90.3 FM Clintwood, 91.7 FM Norton, and 90.1 FM Big Stone Gap. 

"Keys to the Game" will air at 6 p.m. each Monday evening during the fall and will be rebroadcast  one hour before kickoff on Saturday afternoons, leading into live coverage at the field from Lester and play-by-play commentator Josh Floyd.

Gary and Josh will take fans right up to game time with more about E&H football and will feature an interview with the Wasps' opposing coach each week. Lester and Floyd were recently honored for the third time in the past five years by the Virginia Association of Broadcasters for outstanding sports coverage for non-commercial or public radio.

The Wasps open the 2023 season on Saturday, September 2 at 1:00 p.m., at Concord University.
