Tyler Easley is entering his second year as Assistant Football Coach at Emory & Henry University & will be responsible for coaching the Cornerbacks and serving as Camp Coordinator. 

In his first season at E&H, Easley worked within a secondary that was one of the top defenses across all NCAA Divisions in interceptions (27). His leadership also played a role in guiding Shawn Collins & Chendrick Cann to earn SAC All-Mountain Division Defensive Back honors, with Shawn Collins earning First Team All-Region and All-America recognition. 

Before his time at Emory & Henry, Easley served as the Cornerbacks Coach, Camp Coordinator, and Assistant Recruiting Coordinator at Averett University. In addition to those duties, he also led the returners group at Averett which contributed to a Second Team All-Region Specialist in 2023.

He began his coaching career at Albright College in Pennsylvania as a Wide Receivers Coach in May of 2022.

A former collegiate athlete, Easley was a four-year member of the football program at then-Division III Emory & Henry College where he began his career as a wide receiver before transitioning to the defensive backfield. 

A native of Gladys, Virginia, Easley graduated from Emory & Henry College in 2022, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management with a minor in Visual Communications. In addition, Easley has also earned both his Master of Science in Athletic Leadership from Albright College in 2023 & Master of Business Administration from Averett University in 2024.
