Tony Hart is in his ninth year as an Assistant Football Coach at Emory & Henry College. He is in his sixth year with the staff on field and will again serve as an offensive analyst after previously working with the quarterbacks as well as the Wasps’ special teams units.

A graduate of Roanoke College, Hart extensive coaching and scouting experience to the table as he has made a career as a physical education teacher and coach in the Roanoke Valley.

The recipient of the 2015 Dave Thomas Twelfth Man Award, Hart has assisted Emory & Henry in recruiting by watching film on each of the Wasps’ recruits. He has also assisted in scouting of opponents and assists from the coaching box on Saturday afternoons.

Hart played quarterback for Emory & Henry during the late 1970's prior to transferring to Roanoke where he completed his degree.

Hart was the Head Coach at Lord Botetourt High School for four years and also served as an assistant coach at William Fleming High School and Patrick Henry (Roanoke) High School. He also had a stint as a high school football radio announcer for WGMN and the former WWWR in Roanoke.
