FOREST, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Men's Basketball Team has earned three spots on the 2019 All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference Teams, ODAC officials announced Wednesday. It marks three years in a row that the Wasps have had multiple players honored by the league. The All-ODAC teams are selected by the conference's 13 head coaches.
Junior guard Daniel Spencer (Concord, N.C.) was named to the All-ODAC First Team while sophomore guard Tharon Suggs (Raleigh, N.C.) earned all-league second-team honors. Senior forward Alic Wynn (Asheville, N.C.) made it back-to-back All-ODAC selections with his spot on the third team.

Spencer averaged a league-best 18.6 points per game during the regular season with nine 20-point games and three 30-point contests, including a career-high 38 against Shenandoah University on November 25. He also averaged 6.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.6 steals per game and has four double-doubles to his credit.
Suggs finished second on the team in scoring at 16.2 points per contest, and averaged 4.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. He scored in double figures in 22 games with nine 20-point outings. His career-high of 29 points came on January 9 against then-No. 22 University of Lynchburg.
Wynn earns his second All-ODAC award after leading the league in rebounding (11.6 rpg) and field goal percentage (61.6%). He averaged 11.9 points per game and paced the Wasps with 12 double-doubles on the year. Wynn became the first player in program history to score 1,000 points and pull down 1,000 rebounds on February 16 against Hampden-Sydney College.
Emory & Henry, the #7 seed in the ODAC Tournament, will face #2 Guilford College in the quarterfinals on Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. The Quakers defeated the Wasps, 67-60, on Wednesday, February 13 in the only regular season meeting between the two squads.
