
GREENWOOD, Ind. - The College Sports Communicators, formerly known as CoSIDA, has released its Academic All-District® Teams for NCAA Division II Men's & Women's Basketball for the 2024-25 season. Four women and two men from Emory & Henry University received the honor.

On the women's side, senior center Chelsi Hodges (Boone, N.C.), senior guard Hannah Spainhour (King, N.C.), junior forward Breanna Yarber (Meadowview, Va.) and sophomore guard Rhyan Harris (Salem, Va.) were chosen to the team for the Wasps.
Across Division II, there were 545 women's basketball players to make the team including a total of 20 from the South Atlantic Conference.
Men's basketball saw senior guard Gabe Brown (Clintwood, Va.) and sophomore guard Jackson Crawford (Daleville, Va.) picked to the team as part of a total of 15 from the SAC. Nationwide, 257 Division II men's basketball players were honored.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees who meet certain criteria advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in mid-April.
