FOREST, Va. – Emory & Henry College sophomore Wesley Jones has been selected as this year's first Old Dominion Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, ODAC officials announced Monday. It is the first time since E&H revived its men's golf program that one of its players has won weekly league honors.

The Seymour, Tennessee native shot a -4 (138) at Tusculum University's Bob Dibble Classic last week to win by three strokes. He was the only player in the field to card two rounds under par and tied for the low round of the tournament at 68 (-3). It was also the first event win by an E&H player since the rebirth of men's golf in the 2016-17 season.

As a team, Emory & Henry finished in third place. The Wasps were the only non-scholarship program in the field.

Emory & Henry will be back in action on Sunday, September 30 when it hosts a Blue-Gold exhibition match at Glenrochie Country Club in Abingdon, Virginia. The event will begin at 2:00 p.m.
