FOREST, Va. – For a second time this fall, Emory & Henry College sophomore Wesley Jones has been selected as Old Dominion Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, ODAC officials announced Monday. It marks the second time in Jones' career and the second time since the revival of E&H's men's golf program that a Wasp has earned weekly honors from the league.

The Seymour, Tennessee native and Seymour High School graduate finished in fifth place at the Maryville College Fall Invitational last week. The event was held at Egwani Farms Golf Course in Rockford, Tennessee. Jones shot a 72 in Monday's first round and followed it up with a 75 on Tuesday to card a +7 for the tournament.

Emory & Henry finished fourth out of nine competing teams. Also in the field were No. 31 Maryville (Tenn.) College, Covenant College, Southern Virginia University, Berea College and William Peace University. The Scots' ranking comes from GolfStat.

Emory & Henry has completed its schedule for the fall semester. The Wasps will return to action in March of 2019.
