Emory & Henry Men’s Golf Eighth After Day One Of The Tusculum Invitational

CHUCKEY, Tenn. – The Emory & Henry College Men's Golf Team returned to action on Monday at the Tusculum Invitational. The Wasps currently sit tied for eighth out of 12 competing teams as the only non-scholarship program in the field.

Emory & Henry
Senior Wesley Jones (Seymour, Tenn.) is tied for 12th after shooting a +4 (76) in the opening 18 holes while senior Isfandyar Khan (Lahore, PAKISTAN) breaks into the top 30 with an 81 (+9).

Senior Christofer Schaff (Elizabethton, Tenn.) and junior Alex Cameron (Mascot, Tenn.) both posted rounds of 83 (+11) to sit tied for 43rd while sophomore Chase Maddox (Amherst, Va.) is 59th after a 90.

The Leaders
Host Tusculum leads the field by 13 strokes after carding a 286 (-2) on Monday with all five of its players in the top 10. Liam van Deventer shot a -5 (67) to sit in first place individually.

Lenoir-Rhyne University is second after shooting a 299 (+11) paced by Liam Waldron, who shot a 70 (-2) in round one.
