BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Emory & Henry College Men's Golf Team finished 12th in a field of Conference Carolinas and South Atlantic Conference programs at the King University Invitational Tuesday.

Freshman Jhon Ojeda (Cali, COLOMBIA) shot a +1 (71) in round two to finish 11th overall, moving up nine spots from Monday while freshman Alex Boone (Clyde, N.C.) carded an 81 (+11) which was good for T-43rd.
Senior Alex Cameron (Mascot, Tenn.) dropped seven strokes from day one, turning in a 76 (+6) to move up 11 places and earn a top-50 finish at T-49th, as fifth-year Isfandyar Khan (Lahore, PAKISTAN) posted an 80 (+10) to finish the tournament at +22 and 57th overall. Fifth-year Christofer Schaff (Elizabethton, Tenn.) took 61st in the event after back-to-back rounds of 84.
The Leaders
King's Samuel Trueba held his lead and finished the tournament at -2, defeating Alberto Dominguez of Erskine College and teammate Peyton Perez by one stroke.
The Tornado won the team title with a score of +5, besting Tusculum University by seven strokes.
Up Next
E&H will be back in action on Monday, October 11 when it competes in the UVA Wise Invitational alongside the Wasps' women's team. The tournament will take place at Cattails Golf Club at MeadowView in Kingsport, Tennessee.
