Emory & Henry Men’s Golf Tied For The Lead After Day One Of The Scotch Invitational

LAURINBURG, N.C. – The Emory & Henry College Men's Golf Team is tied for the lead after 18 holes of play at The Scotch Invitational, hosted by St. Andrews University. The Wasps sit even with Columbia International University at +14 (302) out of the 12-team field.

Emory & Henry
Sophomore Jhon Ojeda (Cali, COLOMBIA) and freshman Jordan Kyaw (Yangon, MYANMAR) are tied for third place one shot off the individual after carding a +1 (73) during Monday's round. 

Junior Avery Alexander (Christiansburg, Va.) and freshman Slade Aliff (Hardy, Va.) make up part of a nine-way tie for 15th overall with rounds of 78 (+6) as sophomore Alex Boone (Clyde, Va.) is tied for 24th at +7 (79).

The Leaders
Joe Hamilton and Remo Scholl of St. Andrews are tied atop the leaderboard as they posted round of even par (72) in their first 18 holes.

Alongside Emory & Henry for the team lead is Columbia International with three players in the top 10. Host St. Andrews is two shots back in third place at +16 (304).
