BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern College Men's Soccer Team (2-0) scored four goals in the first 30 minutes of play en route to a 5-0 victory over visiting Emory & Henry College (0-2) at the Jim 'N Nick's/PUMA Labor Day Classic.

The Panthers broke open the game with a pair of goals in the first 10 minutes. Spencer Nichols took a pass from Jeremy Evans early in the eighth minute and put it past the keeper. Two and a half minutes later, Nichols found Connor Quiggle for the second goal of the match.

With 29:15 left in the first half, Kristjan Bryde made it 3-0 on a pass from Tobias Winter. Winter then got a goal of his own with 15 minutes before the break.

The final goal came as a penalty kick in the 83rd minute as Johannes Loeffler converted from the spot for the final 5-0 margin.
