ANDERSON, Ind. – Coming off its strong performance last weekend, the Emory & Henry College Men's Soccer Team has seen four of its players named to the Raven-Quaker Classic All-Tournament Team.
The Wasps earned a double-overtime win and a full-time draw over their Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference foes, and were the runners-up of the tournament. Greenville College was the tournament champion with a pair of wins while Earlham College was third and Anderson University was fourth.
Sophomore forward Zach Quest (Charlotte, N.C.) was selected as the tournament's Offensive MVP after a pair of goals against Anderson on Friday. His 28th-second goal to open the match was the second-fastest in program history. He also gave the Wasps a 2-1 lead later in the contest, 13 seconds after AU equalized.
Joining Quest on the all-tournament team are senior midfielder Jared Eiriksson (Blackstone, Va.), sophomore defender Josh Villanueva (Austin, Texas) and freshman defender Chandler Copeland (Newport News, Va.).
