FOREST, Va. – Emory & Henry College senior forward Tyequis Stallins has been named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week, ODAC officials announced Monday. It is the second time in his career that Stallins has earned weekly honors from the league.

Stallins, a native of Chesapeake, Virginia, scored twice and added two assists in E&H's pair of non-conference victories last week. He put up a goal and an assist in the Wasps' 3-0 win over Warren Wilson College on Tuesday.

The Western Branch High School graduate assisted on the opening score against Johnson University and completed the week with what would be the match-winning goal in the 73rd minute. E&H won the contest by a 2-1 score.

With his third match-winner of the year, Stallins has tied the Emory & Henry record for match-winning goals in a career with eight. The record was set by P.J. Henson between 2007-11. Stallins currently leads the ODAC with seven goals through six matches this year and also tops the league with 17 points. His three assists are good for best on the team.

Emory & Henry (5-1, 0-0 ODAC) will open ODAC play on Wednesday when it visits the University of Lynchburg at 7:00 p.m.
