Tusculum Men’s Soccer Blanks Emory & Henry, 7-0, Wednesday In SAC Action

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. The Tusculum University Men's Soccer Team (6-3-3, 2-3-3 SAC) scored three times in the opening 20 minutes on its way to a 7-0 win over Emory & Henry College (0-11, 0-7 SAC) Wednesday night.

How It Happened
- The Pioneers got on the board 10 minutes into the contest as J-P Vital received a pass from Pedro Concheso that he shot through the goalkeeper. Tusculum made it 2-0 early in the 18th minute on a penalty kick goal by Carlos Perez. TU scored for a third time at the 17:38 mark with Vital finding the back of the net.
- In the second half, Vital completed the hat trick just before the hour mark as Concheso earned his second assist of the night. Artur Marques scored in the 62nd minute with Concheso tallying yet another assist.
- Late in the 69th minute, Kasper Hansen pushed the Pioneers' margin to 6-0. Ndubueze Henry and Michele Di Miele were both credited with assists. Tusculum capped the scoring with 6:22 to go with Gaaj Laurin finding the back of the net from the top from the top of the box, assisted by Marques.

Emory & Henry Individual Leaders
- Fifth-year forward Nino Egli (Maseltrangen, SWITZERLAND) and freshman midfielder Gabe Franco (Charlotte, N.C.) each tallied shots on target.
- Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Josiah Wilson (Cleveland, Va.) made six saves in goal as he played the full 90 minutes.

Tusculum Individual Leaders
- Vital scored his hat trick on seven shots, six of which went on frame. Concheso notched a trio of assists while Marques had a goal and an assist.
- Sondre Liahagen Kolnes earned the shutout making a pair of saves.
