Milligan Men’s & Women’s Swimming Handles Emory & Henry Friday Afternoon

EMORY, Va. – The Milligan University Men's & Women's Swimming Teams picked up a pair of victories as they each won 10 of 11 events against Emory & Henry College Friday afternoon. The E&H men continued their assault on the record book, breaking seven school marks on the day.

The Men
- Freshman Corey Kidd (Stockbridge, Ga.) earned the win in the 50-meter freestyle with a record time of :24.34 while his second-place finish in the 100-meter freestyle also broke a record at :54.89.
- Freshman Payton Nabors (Lawrenceville, Ga.) took second in the 800-meter freestyle with a new program best of 9:18.01 and had a third-place finish in the 400-free with another record time of 4:26.90.
- Freshman Kyle Berry (Ringgold, Ga.) touched the wall third in both of his individual events, grabbing E&H top marks in the 100-meter butterfly (1:00.52) and the 200-meter freestyle (2:03.43).
- The Wasps concluded the meet as Kidd, freshman Aiden Quertermous (Awendaw, S.C.), junior Ryan Spangler (Daleville, Va.) and Berry went a 1:41.02 in the 200-meter freestyle relay for another record, finishing second.

The Women
- Freshman Rachel Ritter (Gibsonville, N.C.) won the 200-meter individual medley, touching the wall in 2:40.93 and was third in the 100-meter breaststroke at 1:22.28.
- Freshman Danyelle Dukes (Center Point, Ala.) was the runner-up in the 100-meter freestyle with a time of 1:08.60 while freshman Peyton Helscher (Simi Valley, Calif.) took third in the 800-free (10:21.63).
- Freshman Paige Gelenski (Boca Raton, Fla.) was third in the 400-meter freestyle (4:50.34) and the 100-meter butterfly (1:11.24).
- In the 200-meter freestyle, freshman Tilly Craddock (Christiansburg, Va.) went a 2:21.98 which was good for third and also took third in the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1:18.95.

- Emory & Henry returns to action next Saturday when it hosts former Old Dominion Athletic Conference-rival Roanoke College at 1:00 p.m.
