EMORY, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Men's & Women's Swimming Teams will get the season started this weekend at the King Invitational. Under the direction of first-year Head Coach Will Hughes, the Wasps have a robust schedule of meets planned that includes a pair of invitationals and 10 duals leading up to the South Atlantic Conference Championships in February.

The King Invitational will take place on Saturday, September 30 and Sunday, October 1 at Kingsport Aquatic Center. The two-day, four-session meet will give E&H an early look at its group of newcomers and how the teams will stack up against this year's competition.

The Wasps' first dual meet of the year will be on Friday, October 6 when they host nationally-ranked Carson-Newman University at 4:00 p.m.

Emory & Henry takes to the road for its next three meets, each of which are double duals. Friday, October 13 sees the Wasps visit King (Tenn). University to also take on Lees-McRae College. A trip to Salisbury, North Carolina on Friday, October 20 for a meet with Catawba College and Mars Hill University begins a doubleheader weekend as E&H visits Mars Hill on Saturday, October 21 to again face off against the Lions as well as Converse University.

On Friday, November 3, the Wasps welcome the Lees-McRae Bobcats to the E&H Aquatics Center at 6:00 p.m. The next day, Emory & Henry makes its first-ever trip to the northern portion of West Virginia to take on Fairmont State University.

E&H's midseason meet will be the Denison Invitational, a three-day affair hosted by the Big Red at the Trumbull Aquatics Center in Granville, Ohio. The meet will run from Thursday, November 30 through Saturday, December 2.

The Wasps close out the fall portion of the season visiting Carson-Newman on Friday, December 8.

Returning from Winter Break, E&H travels to face Lenoir-Rhyne University on Saturday, January 6. The final home meet of the year will be on Saturday, January 13 at 1 p.m., as the Wasps welcome Mars Hill and King (Tenn.).

Emory & Henry closes out the dual portion of the year, traveling to King (Tenn.) for a double-dual against the Tornado and Chowan University on Saturday, January 27.

The 2024 SAC Championships will take place from Wednesday, February 14 through Saturday, February 17 at the Greensboro Aquatics Center.
