Emory & Henry Men's Swimming Picked Sixth In SAC Preseason Poll

ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Emory & Henry College Men's Swimming Team has been picked to finish sixth in the South Atlantic Conference this year by the league's head coaches. The poll was released by the SAC office on Wednesday.

Wingate University, which captured the inaugural SAC Championship last February, and was eighth at the 2023 NCAA Division II Championships, is picked to repeat as champion with five of six first-place votes. Carson-Newman University received the other top nod and is second. Lenoir-Rhyne University is third, while Catawba is fourth, Mars Hill is fifth and Emory & Henry is sixth.

Additionally, the SAC has announced its Swimmers to Watch List with junior Corey Kidd (Stockbridge, Ga.), sophomore Owen Seymour (Signal Mountain, Tenn.) and freshman Noah Day (Milton, Fla.) making the list for E&H.

The 2024 SAC Championships will be held at the Greensboro Aquatic Center beginning Wednesday, February 14 and running through Saturday, February 17.
