Emory & Henry Men's Swimming Picked Sixth In SAC Preseason Poll

ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Emory & Henry University Men's Swimming Team has been picked to finish sixth in the South Atlantic Conference this year by the league's head coaches. The poll was released by the SAC office on Friday.

Wingate University, the two-time reigning SAC Champion, and was eighth at the 2023 NCAA Division II Championships, is picked to repeat as champion with five of six first-place votes. Catawba College received the other top nod and is second. Carson-Newman University is third, while Lenoir-Rhyne University is fourth, Mars Hill University is fifth and Emory & Henry is sixth.

Additionally, the SAC has announced its Swimmers to Watch List with senior Corey Kidd (Stockbridge, Ga.), sophomore Brady Jones (Bluefield, Va.) and sophomore Ryan Teuton (Chattanooga, Tenn.) making the list for E&H.

The 2024 SAC Championships will be held at the Greensboro Aquatic Center beginning Wednesday, February 5 and running through Saturday, February 8.
