EMORY, Va. - The Emory & Henry men's tennis team (0-4, 0-1 ODAC) took the court this afternoon in their first ODAC match of the season. The Wasps faced off against No. 31 Washington and Lee (3-0, 3-0 ODAC) on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

Doubles

The Generals swept two out of three doubles matches against the Wasps by a score of 8-0. However, at two doubles the tandem of Cooper Garrett (Gate City, Va.) and Liam Davidson (Newport News, Va.) were able to capture a game, losing 8-1.

Singles

At one singles, sophomore Grayson McCarty (Marion, Va.) was able to pick a game on W&L's number one. THe local product did fall, 6-0, 6-1. The two through four seeds were all shut out, 6-0, 6-0 by the eight-time defending ODAC Champions on Sunday. Garrett was able to get another game in singles play, as the sophomore took a 6-1, 6-0 loss at five singles. Six singles was lost, 6-0, 6-0.

The Wasps will host William Peace at home on Sunday, March 11th on Richardson Tennis Courts.
