E&H returns five players from last year's roster and welcomes a pair of freshmen to the fold. The Wasps posted a 2-0 record in non-conference matches during the fall season, as they defeated Maryville (Tenn.) College by a 9-0 score and topped Johnson University, 8-1.

Washington and Lee University received 11 of 12 first-place votes, and is picked to win the league for the 38th time. Guilford College is second with the final first-place vote while Hampden-Sydney College and Virginia Wesleyan University round out the top four.

Emory & Henry will open the spring portion of its season on Saturday when it visits Virginia Wesleyan at noon. The Wasps' first home match is set for Tuesday, March 19, hosting Bethany (W.Va.) College.
