Emory & Henry Men's Tennis Defeats William Peace, 6-3, Wednesday On The Road

RALEIGH, N.C. - The Emory & Henry College Men's Tennis Team (3-2, 0-2 ODAC) picked up a 6-3 non-conference victory over William Peace University (0-3, 0-1 USA South) Wednesday afternoon.

How It Happened
- Emory & Henry got out to a 2-1 lead after doubles play and sealed the victory with four singles wins.
- Freshman Archer Marlow (Oak Ridge, Tenn.) and junior Cooper Garrett (Gate City, Va.) won, 8-0, at No. 2 doubles and carried that victory over to wins in singles play.
- Freshman Brandon McGuire (Christiansburg, Va.) teamed up with junior Staymon Johnson (Pilot Mountain, N.C.) at No. 3 doubles for an 8-1 win.
