FOREST, Va. – For the first time since the 2012-13 season, the Emory & Henry College Men's Tennis team will compete in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament. The Wasps reach the postseason as the #8 seed following their 4-7 (3-5 ODAC) performance over the regular season. The pairings for the tournament were released late Sunday night by the ODAC office.

The conference tournament embarks on a new format this season, both out of necessity from pandemic campus and travel protocols, but also to accommodate the sport's unbalanced schedule. The field is nine teams large for the first time in ODAC history, and will be played on four separate days beginning with first round action on Wednesday, April 28. The quarterfinals will be Saturday, May 1, followed by the semifinals on Wednesday, May 5. The championship will be competed on Saturday, May 8. All matches will be played on the campus of the higher seed.
In the event of a conflict with schedules or hosting responsibilities at a campus, a secondary date for the match may be used. Those updates will be communicated if applicable.
E&H finished in eighth place during the regular season and will host ninth-seeded Bridgewater College (5-7, 3-6 ODAC) on Wednesday. The Eagles defeated the Wasps on Saturday, April 10 by a 7-2 score. The winner of Wednesday's first round match will face off against #1 Washington and Lee University on Saturday.
