SALEM, Va. - The Emory & Henry College Men's Tennis Team pushed its season record to 3-0 on Sunday afternoon as it defeated former Old Dominion Athletic Conference rival Roanoke College (0-2) by a 5-2 score.

How It Happened
The Wasps snagged the doubles point, winning at the first and second flights. Senior Archer Marlow (Oak Ridge, Tenn.) and freshman Juan Alvarez (Metepec, MEXICO) claimed a 6-1 victory at No. 1 doubles while senior Brandon McGuire (Christiansburg, Va.) and freshman Corey Garrity (Spartanburg, S.C.) grabbed a 6-2 win at No. 2.

In singles action, McGuire earned a three-set win at the premier pairing while Marlow earned a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 2. Alvarez picked up a 6-0, 6-2 victory at the third flight while Garrity came out on top, 6-3 6-2 at No. 4.
