How It Happened
The Buffaloes grabbed the doubles point, earning wins at the second and third flights. Senior Archer Marlow (Oak Ridge, Tenn.) and freshman Juan Alvarez (Metepec, MEXICO) won by a 7-6 score at No. 1, edging their opponents, 7-3, in the tiebreak.
In singles play, Alvarez grabbed a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 3.
