BRISTOL, Tenn. - The King (Tenn.) University Men's Tennis Team (3-0) picked up a 6-1 win against Emory & Henry College (3-1) Thursday afternoon. The match was originally scheduled to be played on Sunday, September 19.

How It Happened
The Tornado jumped out to a 1-0 lead through doubles, sweeping the three matches. Junior Zeke Workman (Dalzell, S.C.) and freshman Alvaro Garcia (Madrid, SPAIN) put up a fight at No. 3 doubles despite falling, 6-4.

In singles, King won No. 1, No. 2 and No. 4 in straight sets to claim the overall match. Freshman Juan Alvarez (Metepec, MEXICO), Garcia and Workman all forced third sets in their matches.
