WINGATE, N.C. - The Emory & Henry College Men's Tennis Team (2-9, 0-5 SAC) and Women's Tennis Team (3-7, 1-4 SAC) each dropped a South Atlantic Conference match to nationally-ranked Wingate University Thursday afternoon. The Bulldogs won both matches by a 7-0 scoreline.

Women's Match
- Wingate won all three doubles matches to take the 1-0 lead.
- Junior Sabina Chernega (Odesa, UKRAINE) fell to Chloe Kosmrlj by a 3-6, 1-6 final at No. 1 singles.
- Sophomore Natalie Bergmann (Forest Hills, N.Y.) lost by a 3-6, 2-6 margin to Fernanda Castillo at No. 3 singles.
Men's Match
- The Bulldogs earned a clean sweep of the doubles portion to jump ahead 1-0.
- Sophomore Kartik Parhar (Ludhiana, INDIA) battled at No. 1 singles before dropping a tough 1-6, 5-7 decision to Gabriel Constantino.
- Junior Branson Smith (Fletcher, N.C.) came up short by a 4-6, 1-6 score to Carlo Rosellini at No. 2 singles.
