Kartik Parhar Named To The All-SAC Men’s Tennis First Team

ROCK HILL, S.C. – With the conclusion of the 2023-24 regular season, the South Atlantic Conference has released its all-conference teams. Emory & Henry College sophomore Kartik Parhar (Ludhiana, INDIA) has been selected to the All-SAC First Team by the league's head coaches.

Parhar led the Wasps with a record of 14-5 overall and 8-3 in conference play at the No. 1 singles position. He finished the season by winning his final eight singles matches, including six in South Atlantic Conference play and two against nationally-ranked opponents. Parhar also earned seven wins in doubles play during the season. 

Catawba's Edoardo Cecere was chosen as SAC Player of the Year while the league's Freshman of the Year award went to Yi-Hsuan Chen of the University of Virginia's College at Wise. Derrick Taylor of Wingate University was named SAC Coach of the Year.
