
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - The Emory & Henry University Women's Tennis Team (2-10, 1-7 SAC) and Men's Tennis Team (1-11, 0-8 SAC) fell on the road to Carson-Newman University in South Atlantic Conference play Tuesday afternoon. The Eagles took both matches by a 4-0 margin.

- Senior Sabina Chernega (Odesa, UKRAINE) fell to Edisa Hot 4-6, 0-6 at No. 1 singles.
- Freshman Tahnne Sesma (Zumaia, SPAIN) was behind 3-6, 1-4 to Sindija Manovska at the No. 2 singles spot when the match was left unfinished.
- Freshman Ellyson Kovacs (Bristol, Tenn.) was defeated by Maria Sarda Marti 1-6, 0-6 at the No. 3 singles position.
- Junior Nina Williams (Fleet, ENGLAND) trailed Kira Baacke 4-6, 2-4 at No. 4 singles, but the match was unfinished.
- Sophomore Olivia Pursley (Hendersonville, N.C.) was behind 4-6, 2-2 to Maria Ulloa when their No. 5 singles match was left unfinished.
