Emory & Henry Men's Track & Field Finishes Ninth At 2021 ODAC Outdoor Championships

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Men's & Women's Track & Field Teams concluded the 2021 season on Sunday in day two of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championships. The men's team finished tied for ninth place as they saw one school record fall during the competition.

The Men
800 Meters - Senior Conor White (Warrenton, Va.) finished 20th with a time of 2:03.66.
1,500 Meters
- White shattered the E&H record by nearly 10 seconds as he stopped the watches in 3:57.87 for a third-place finish. Sophomore James Guthrie (Dublin, Va.) was 32nd overall.
5,000 Meters - Junior Lucas Biggerstaff (Knoxville, Tenn.) placed 29th, running a 19:04.32.
Discus - Junior Edward Rajner (Bainbridge, N.Y.) cracked the top 10, placing ninth with a throw of 34.51 meters. Junior Donovan Pinnix (Eden, N.C.) was 12th with a mark of 31.65 meters.

The Women
800 Meters - FreshmanMadeline Bishop (Collinsville, Va.) was 18th posting a time of 2:43.84.
5,000 Meters - Freshman Annalyse McHone (Shawsville, Va.) grabbed an 18th-place finish of her own, covering the distance in 20:48.09.
Discus - Junior Lorin Zehr (Holly Pond, Ala.) placed 11th, marking a 27.70 meters.
