Emory & Henry Men’s 4x800 Relay Qualifies For ECAC/IC4A Championship At Father Diamond Invitational Friday

FAIRFAX, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Men's Indoor Track & Field Team sent its 4x800 meter relay to the Father Diamond Invitational, hosted by George Mason University on Friday. The Wasps made the trip with the goal of qualifying for the 2024 ECAC/IC4A Indoor Track & Field Championships.

How It Happened
Freshman Gavin Kegler (Woodbridge, Va.), sophomore Samuel Tindall (Fort Defiance, Va.), freshman Caeden Bowker (Salem, Va.) and freshman Heath Bowker (Salem, Va.) posted a time of 7:53.43 to win the event.

With that performance, the Wasps have achieved this year's standard of 7:58.00 and have qualified for the ECAC/IC4A Indoor Track & Field Championships which will be at the Boston University Track & Tennis Center from Friday, March 1 through Sunday, March 3.
