
ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Emory & Henry University Men's Indoor Track and Field Team has been picked to finish 11th in the South Atlantic Conference this year by the league's head coaches. The poll was released by the SAC office on Thursday.

As a full member of NCAA Division II, Emory & Henry student-athletes are now eligible to qualify for the NCAA Division II National Championship meet.
Wingate University, the defending SAC Champion and the ninth-place team at last season's national meet, is picked to win the league with 12 of 13 first-place votes. Lenoir-Rhyne University is second, receiving the other first-place vote, while Anderson University is third and Tusculum University is fourth.
Additionally, the SAC has announced its Athletes to Watch List with senior Matthew Klapak (Zion Crossroads, Va.), senior Gavin Lee (North Tazewell, Va.), junior Will Humphrey, II (Charlotte, N.C.) and sophomore Heath Bowker (Salem, Va.) making the list for E&H.
Emory & Henry will get the season started on Saturday, January 18 at the VMI Team Challenge on the campus of Virginia Military Institute.
