EMORY, Va. – The Emory & Henry University Softball Team under the direction of third-year Head Coach Jake Cockerham has released its schedule for the upcoming season. The Wasps have a full slate of 56 games on the schedule with a full South Atlantic Conference slate, three weekend tournaments and 10 non-conference doubleheaders.
For the first time since 2021, Emory & Henry is eligible to qualify for the NCAA Tournament. The Wasps have put together a strong schedule that will play a large part in achieving an all-important NCAA Division II Southeast Region ranking which will determine the participants in the NCAA Tournament.

E&H gets the season started on February 1 and 2 on the campus of Lincoln Memorial University when they face off against Lees-McRae College and Tiffin University in a two-day four-game event. The Wasps will play in King University's Regional Mixer Tournament on February 8 and 9, taking on King, Converse University and Barton College in Johnson City, Tennessee.
The first true doubleheader will come on Wednesday, February 12 when E&H visits North Greenville University. The Wasps remain on the road on the weekend of February 15 and 16 in North Georgia's Tournament where they meet North Georgia and Emmanuel (Ga.).
On Saturday, February 22, E&H begins its home schedule with the first of three straight doubleheaders. The Wasps will play Concord University (Sat., Feb. 22), Davis & Elkins College (Sun., Feb. 23) and Virginia State University (Mon., Feb. 24) in three successive days.
Emory & Henry returns to the Peach State on the first weekend in March for a three-game series at Young Harris College. The Wasps jump into SAC play on Tuesday, March 4 at Lincoln Memorial University before traveling to Wingate University on Saturday, March 8.
Another six-game homestand awaits E&H beginning on Sunday, March 9 as they take on Fairmont State University. The Wasps will also play host to King (Tenn.) and Mars Hill University on Tuesday, March 11 and Wednesday, March 12, respectively.
Local trips to Bluefield State University (Sat., Mar. 15) and the University of Virginia's College at Wise (Tue., Mar. 18) make way for Emory & Henry to jump into the heart of league play. Catawba College comes to town on Saturday, March 22 before the Wasps visit perennial powerhouse Lenoir-Rhyne University on Wednesday, March 26.
E&H hosts Coker University (Sat., Mar. 29) and Limestone University (Tue., Apr. 1) before visiting Concord on Thursday, April 3 and Newberry College on Saturday, April 5.
The Wasps will play their final two home doubleheaders on Wednesday, April 9 and Saturday, April 12, hosting Carson-Newman University and Tusculum University, respectively. The games against TU will serve as Senior Day.
Emory & Henry closes out the regular season with a trip across the border to face King (Tenn.) on Thursday, April 17 and a road series at Anderson (S.C.) University.
The South Atlantic Conference Tournament will be played over two weekends beginning Friday, April 25 and culminating on Saturday, May 3. The format for this year's tournament is yet to be determined.
