Adam Lallande is entering his third year as an Assistant Track & Field Coach at Emory & Henry College. He serves as the team’s throws coach.

Lallande makes the move to the college level after 28 years of coaching many different sports at various high schools across Southwest Virginia. In addition to his role with Emory & Henry, Lallande teaches at Virginia Middle School and is an assistant coach on the Bearcats' wrestling team.

A native of Richlands, Virginia, Lallande played college football at the Virginia Military Institute and attended Radford University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1993. He holds a master’s degree in educational administration from Walden University, which he earned in 2009.

Lallande's wife, Zachlynn, was a standout track & field athlete at East Tennessee State University and currently serves as the Head Track & Field Coach at Tazewell High School. The couple lives in Abingdon with their Great Dane, Hammer.
