Emory & Henry's Karina Farr Named To All-ODAC Third Team

FOREST, Va. – Emory & Henry College freshman forward Karina Farr has named to the All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Third Team, ODAC officials announced Wednesday. The all-conference teams are selected by the league's 12 head coaches.

The Graham, Wash. native led the league in rebounding (9.8 rpg) and was second for the Wasps in scoring (10.5 ppg). For much of the season, Farr was the only player in the ODAC averaging a double-double.

She reached double figures in scoring in 13 games and pulled down over 10 rebounds on 11 different occasions. On January 12, Farr broke the Emory & Henry record for rebounding with 24 boards and completed the double-double with 19 points.

Emory & Henry concluded the 2012-13 season with a 7-18 record, winning more games than in the previous two seasons combined. The Wasps finished in a tie for ninth in the ODAC regular season.
