SALEM, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Women’s Basketball team has seen three players honored on the 2016 All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference Teams, ODAC officials announced Wednesday. It marks the second year in a row that a trio of Wasps have been honored by the league. The all-conference teams are selected by the league's 12 head coaches.

Freshman guard Taylor Blevins (Abingdon, Va.) has been selected as the ODAC Rookie of the Year and is the second-straight Wasp to earn the award. The Abingdon High School graduate, who was also named to the All-ODAC Second Team, has averaged 12.5 points, 9.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.3 steals per contest. She leads the team and is second in the league in field goal percentage (57.1%) and rebounding. Her 21 blocks also are best for E&H and seventh-most in the ODAC. Blevins has reached double figures in scoring 14 times and posted 10 double-doubles. She has career-high of 28 points against Pikeville on January 3 and a career-best 18 rebounds at Roanoke on January 13.

Emory & Henry also saw junior guard Megan Jacoby (Richmond, Va.) and senior forward Karina Farr (Graham, Wash.) selected to the all-conference team. Jacoby earned second-team accolades while Farr was honored as Third-Team All-ODAC.  It is the first time since the 1987-88 season, and only the third time in program history that E&H has seen three players named all-conference.

Jacoby was second in the ODAC in assists with 5.8 helpers per contest, and finished the regular season third in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.3). She also posted top-10 numbers in steals, free throw percentage and free throws made, all while averaging 36.2 minutes per game. She currently sits at 13th in assists per game and 21st in assist-to-turnover ratio. The junior is also putting up career-best numbers in scoring with an average of 10.6 points per game. She has 12 games in which she scored 10 or more points and 12 with six or more assists. She scored a career-high 23 points against Virginia Wesleyan on January 30.

Farr earns all-league third-team accolades for the third year in a row and is second on the team in scoring (11.3 ppg), rebounding (5.7 rpg) and field goal percentage (54.2%). Farr scored in double figures on 15 different occasions during the regular season, putting up a career-best 27 points at Washington and Lee (Jan. 27). She also became the 13th member of E&H’s 1,000-point club against Hollins on Jan. 6.

The #3 Wasps will take on sixth-seeded Bridgewater on Thursday at 8:00 p.m., in the ODAC Tournament Quarterfinals.
