EMORY, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Women's Basketball Team (5-1, 2-0 ODAC) saw all 15 players who suited up find the scoring column as it rolled to a 103-43 win over Shenandoah University (3-3, 0-2 ODAC) Saturday afternoon in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference matchup.

How It Happened
- After the first 1:43 went scoreless, the Wasps went on an 11-3 run to get things started. E&H would also score the final seven points of the period to lead 19-7 after 10 minutes played.
- In the second period, Emory & Henry shot 12-for-18 (66.7%) as it continued to build the lead with a 22-2 run which covered 8:06. The Wasps would take a 48-18 advantage into the locker room.
- Coming out of the break, E&H kept the pressure on, extending the margin to 38 (70-32) at the end of the third quarter.
- Eleven straight points by Emory & Henry to start the fourth turned into a 24-2 run covering 6:34 to push the lead to 60, 94-34 with 3:26 left to play. The Wasps would go up by 61 in the final two minutes as they cruised to a 60-point win for the second time this season.
Emory & Henry Individual Leaders
- Four different players reached double figures in scoring as all 15 players put their mark in the scoring column.
- Sophomore guard Jada Penn (Radford, Va.) posted a game-high 14 points, hitting a trio of three-pointers while junior guard Chloe Harris (Bristol, Va.) had 12 points and two assists off the bench as well.
- Sophomore guard Tessa Johnston (High Point, N.C.) tallied 11 points while freshman forward Sydney McKinney (Big Stone Gap, Va.) had 10 points and eight boards on four-for-four shooting.
- Freshman forward Peyton Williams (Saltville, Va.) had nine points and nine rebounds while sophomore forward Laken Blackburn (Wilkesboro, N.C.) and freshman forward Kara Stafford (Bristol, Tenn.) each had eight points.
Shenandoah Individual Leaders
- Jordan Sondrol had 11 points off the bench for the Hornets while Sarah Donley tacked on 10 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals.
- Ashley Oakes tacked on six points, three rebounds and two blocks and Erin French notched five points, six boards, two assists and four steals.
A Deeper Look
- Emory & Henry shot 38-for-69 (57.4%) for the game, and hit 12-for-18 (66.7%) of its field goals in both the second and fourth periods. The Wasps also made nine three-pointers, including a six-for-nine (66.7%) effort in the fourth quarter.
- Shenandoah was just 29.6 percent (16-for-54) during the game, shooting 33 percent or less in three of the four periods.
- E&H dominated down low, scoring 54 points in the paint and leading 48-28 on rebounding. The Wasps' 19 offensive rebounds translated into a 21-8 lead on second-chance points.
- The Wasps scored 32 points off of 28 Hornet turnovers and led 26-2 on fast-break points.
- In addition to all 15 players scoring, E&H saw nine players earn an assist and 12 players make a steal. The Wasps had 21 assists on 39 made baskets and added 22 steals on the afternoon.

- Emory & Henry defeats Shenandoah for the fifth-straight time dating back to the 2013-14 season.
- The Wasps reach the 100-point mark for the second time this year and earn their third win by 30 or more points in four games.

- Emory & Henry will take to the road on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m., for a contest against Warren Wilson College. It will be the last game prior to the fall semester exam period for the Wasps.
