ATLANTA, Ga. – The Emory & Henry College Women's Basketball Team has seen a pair of players selected to the Holiday Inn Express and Suites All-Classic Team, Oglethorpe University officials announced following the completion of the tournament.
Junior guard Myesha Logan (Roanoke, Va.) and sophomore forward Sydney McKinney (Big Stone Gap Va.) were among the six players selected to the All-Classic Team.
Logan averaged 6.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.0 steals and 3.0 assists over the two day event. She had nine points, five boards, five assists and five steals against Birmingham-Southern College on Monday and followed that up with four points, four rebounds and three steals against Oglethorpe Tuesday.
McKinney put up 9.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game while adding five assists, four steals and four blocks. She posted a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds against the Panthers and had four, rebounds, four assists, four blocks and two steals to go along with three points in the Wasps' loss to the Stormy Petrels Tuesday.
Emory & Henry (8-3, 1-1 ODAC) will be back in action in the New Year, hosting Hollins University on Wednesday, January 3 at 7:00 p.m.
