SALEM, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Women's Basketball Team has seen three of its members selected to the 2018 All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference Teams, ODAC officials announced Thursday. It marks the fourth year in a row that the Wasps have had multiple players recognized by the league. The All-ODAC teams are selected by the conference's 12 head coaches.

Junior forward Taylor Blevins (Abingdon, Va.) was picked to the all-league first team after brining home second-team accolades for the past two seasons. Joining Blevins on the All-ODAC Team is sophomore forward Sydney McKinney (Big Stone Gap, Va.), who earns all-league honors for the first time in her career.

Blevins becomes the fifth player in program history to earn three all-conference selections and the second in as many seasons as Megan Jacoby earned her third All-ODAC pick as a senior last year. The Abingdon, Virginia native has started all 25 games for E&H this year and is averaging a team-leading 12.1 points per game. She is shooting 54.7 percent from the field, which is good for second in the league, and also averaging 5.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.4 steals per contest. She has reached double figures in scoring 17 times this year.

McKinney has started 20 of the 24 games in which she has played this year and is averaging 10.4 points and 5.6 rebounds per game, both of which are second on the team. She has 13 double-digit scoring games, including a stretch of seven contests between January 20 and February 10, and three double-doubles. The Big Stone Gap, Virginia native is shooting 51 percent overall and 35.9 percent from beyond the arc. She is second on the squad with 2.0 assists per game, averages 1.4 steals and has blocked a team-best 19 shots.

Additionally, Head Coach Anne Crutchfield was named the ODAC Coach of the Year after leading the Wasps to a 20-5 (13-3 ODAC) record and the #1 seed in the ODAC Tournament. She becomes the first E&H mentor to earn coach-of-the-year honors since Joy Scruggs accomplished the feat in the 2002-03 season.

The top-seeded Wasps will face #9-seed Shenandoah University Today at 1:00 p.m., in the ODAC Tournament Quarterfinals. It mark the second-straight year that E&H and SU have met in the round of eight. Emory & Henry swept the season series with Shenandoah, earning a 103-43 home victory on Saturday, December 2 and winning, 64-40, on the road on Saturday, February 4.
