Senior guard Amaya Lee (Bristol, Va.), sophomore center Chelsi Hodges (Boone, N.C.), sophomore forward Grace Glance (Clyde, N.C.) and sophomore guard Hannah Spainhour (King, N.C.) were E&H's representatives.

Across NCAA Division II, there were 438 women's basketball players to make the team, including a total of 20 from the South Atlantic Conference.

The 2022-23 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in mid-March.
