Gage Ash is in his second year as the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Emory & Henry University. He is responsible for assisting in all aspects of the program including training, recruiting and day-to-day operations. He also serves as an adjunct instructor in the Heath & Human Performance Department and as the head coach of the men's basketball developmental team.

Ash arrives at E&H after a year as a graduate teaching assistant at his alma mater Ohio University. He was also assistant women’s basketball coach at Federal Hocking High School where he helped the program to a 13-11 record just one year after finishing 3-16. In addition, Ash acted as head coach of In-Step Select AAU in Parkersburg, West Virginia where he led the squad to an overall record of 17-6. 

As an undergraduate, Ash was a student manager for the women’s basketball program at Ohio University for all four years. He was promoted to head manager during his junior year where he assisted with the scout team, player workouts, drills and general day-to-day routines. 

Ash received his Bachelor of Sport Management degree from Ohio University in 2022 and is currently working towards a Master of Coaching Education from the same institution.
