Emory & Henry Women’s Golf Sets Fall 2018 Tournament Slate

EMORY, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Women's Golf Team will embark on its sophomore campaign this fall with five events scheduled. Now led by Head Coach Bill Mannino, the Wasps have their sights set on a strong fall and moving up the ladder in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.

E&H's first tournament is the Bob Dibble Classic, hosted by Tusculum University. The event will run from Monday, September 10 through Tuesday, September 11 at Link Hills Country Club in Greeneville, Tennessee.

The Wasps will have a quick turnaround leading into their second outing of the year as they travel to Buena Vista, Virginia on Saturday, September 15 for the Knights Women's Fall Invitational, hosted by Southern Virginia University at Vista Links Golf Course. This will be a one-day, 18-hole tournament.

On Saturday, September 22 and Sunday, September 23 Emory & Henry visits Lakeview Golf Club in Harrisonburg, Virginia for the Bridgewater Fall Invitational.

The Wasps will hold the Blue-Gold Match, an exhibition event at Glenrochie Country Club in Abingdon, Virginia on Sunday, September 30. The day will begin at 2:00 p.m., and see both the Emory & Henry men's and women's golf teams in action.

E&H will close out the fall season with its second-straight appearance in the Greene Turtle Invitational, hosted by Shenandoah University. The tournament will take place on Friday, October 5 and Saturday, October 6.
