LEXINGTON, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Women's Golf Team got its 2019-20 campaign started on Saturday at the Knights Women's Fall Invitational, hosted by Southern Virginia University. The tournament was played at Lexington Golf & Country Club

Emory & Henry
Senior Ashley Underwood (Strawberry Plains, Tenn.) finished tied for 43rd at 105 (+33) while junior Chandler Thomas (Elizabethton, Tenn.) carded a 109 (+37) to tie for 47th.

The Winners
Bridgewater College's Savannah Scott took individual honors by shooting a +2 (74), winning the tournament by five strokes. The Eagles also claimed the team title, putting up a round of 321 (+39) and placing all five of their players in the top 12 and ties.

Emory & Henry will be back in action at the Bridgewater Invitational on Monday, September 23 and Tuesday, September 24.
